- How to check: Hold your crystal up to the light (or use a magnifying glass).
- The Verdict: If you see tiny, perfectly round bubbles inside, it is 100% Glass. Throw it away.
Test #2: The "Imperfect" Color Test
Nature is rarely uniform. If your crystal looks "too perfect," be suspicious.
- Fake (Glass/Dyed): The color is a bright, neon pink that looks exactly the same all over. It is perfectly transparent like a window pane.
- Real (Natural): The color is usually a soft, pale pink (sometimes almost white). It is rarely clear; it looks "milky" or cloudy. It often has white streaks, wispy lines, or internal cracks (called "inclusions").
